Kenilworth to Heathcote, with a coach waiting at the end.

Two main roads link Kenilworth to us. The A46 bypass and the A452 both run south towards Warwick and Leamington, and Rigby Close sits just off Heathcote Lane on the southern edge of Leamington, a few minutes from junctions 14 and 15 of the M40. Set off from Talisman Square, the station or Abbey Fields outside rush hour and you are usually parked in about a quarter of an hour.

What waits at the other end is coached strength and conditioning in small groups, not an open floor you have to work out for yourself. A coach runs the whole session, the programme is already written, and the group stops at seven, so the person coaching you can actually see what you are doing. If you have a race in the diary, HYROX coaching runs on the same floor: we are an official HYROX Training Club, and the race programming is led by co-founder and Head Coach Martin Browne.

It suits anyone in Kenilworth, Leek Wootton, Burton Green or Stoneleigh who wants close, personal coaching alongside the energy of a small group. The first step is a free fifteen minute discovery call, so you can decide whether the drive makes sense before you make it.

Worth leaving town for

Four reasons it is worth the fifteen minutes.

There are places to train closer to home. These are the reasons a coached session in Leamington is worth the short run down from Kenilworth.

01

Someone watching every set

When you train alone after a long day, it is easy to cut a set short or let your position drift. Here a coach is on the floor from the first warm-up set to the last, cueing your setup, adjusting the load and making sure the work you do is the work that was planned.

02

A programme that moves forward

Sessions are written in progressive blocks, so each week builds on the one before and you can see whether you are stronger at the end than at the start. You arrive knowing what the forty-five minutes are for, never wondering what to do next.

03

Small enough to be seen

Every group stops at seven. The kit is there when you need it, the coach can see the whole room, and you soon know the regulars who share your slot, which is what keeps people turning up through a Warwickshire winter.

04

More attention than a class

Small group personal training sits between a busy fitness class and one-to-one sessions. If you are weighing the two, our guide to 1:1 versus small group training sets out the differences so you can decide which suits you.

Getting here from Kenilworth

Three roads south. One free car park.

From the town centre, the usual run outside rush hour is the A452 Leamington Road out to the A46, south on the Kenilworth bypass, into Warwick on the A429, then out along Banbury Road and Gallows Hill to Heathcote Lane. From Thickthorn and Windy Arbour you are on the A46 almost straight away; from Crackley, Knowle Hill or Burton Green, allow a few minutes more.

4min A46 southbound The Kenilworth bypass, towards Warwick
11min Banbury Road Through Warwick on the A429, then Gallows Hill
~15min Rigby Close Heathcote Lane, Heathcote Way, park outside

When Warwick is busy, two other ways in are worth knowing. Stay on the A452 past Chesford and Blackdown, through Leamington and down Europa Way; or take the A46 to Longbridge, drop onto the M40 for one junction and come off at J14 for Europa Way. Every route ends with the same turn into Heathcote Lane.

6days Mon to Fri 06:15 to 20:00
Sat 07:30 to 12:00

Early, mid-morning, evening or Saturday.

Sessions last 45 minutes, with fifteen minutes between one and the next, and run from first thing until the doors close at 20:00 on weekdays. Here is how each part of the day fits around a Kenilworth commute, school run or working week.

06:15

Ahead of the commute

Leave Kenilworth a little before six, train first thing, and you can be heading north towards Coventry or south towards the M40 by about half past seven, with the session already done for the day.

09:30

Once the school gates close

Mid-morning sessions on several weekdays are a calmer place to start once the children are dropped off, particularly if you are coming back after time off or want a coach’s eye on your technique from the very first week.

19:00

The last session of the day

On most weekdays the last session starts at 19:00. Come straight from the office, train, and you are home in Kenilworth well before nine with the evening still your own.

07:30

Saturdays, early

The floor is open from 07:30 to 12:00. Train early and you are home with most of the weekend still ahead of you. Sundays are a rest day.

“They are amazing coaches who take the time to check in during sessions, and you never need to think about what you are doing as you are told. Looking forward to staying at PF and seeing where it takes me. I never thought I’d look forward to a 6am HYROX session, but I do.”

“The best decision I have made was joining this gym. What I thought might be something I join for a few months to kickstart getting back into the gym has ended up with me still being here 3 years later.”

“I was 56 and well over 18 stone. A short conversation with Olivia convinced me to go and have a free try out. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel like one of the family. Everything immediately felt different.”

Kenilworth questions

Worth knowing before the first drive.

How long is the drive from Kenilworth?

Around fifteen minutes from Kenilworth town centre outside rush hour, and roughly seven miles. Most sat navs send you down the A46, into Warwick on the A429 and out along Banbury Road and Gallows Hill to Heathcote Lane. At busier times the A452 through Leamington, or the A46 and one junction of the M40, can be quicker.

Which sessions suit a Kenilworth commute or the school run?

Weekday sessions start at 06:15, which suits anyone who needs to be on the road to work by half past seven. Mid-morning sessions on several weekdays work well after the school run, evening sessions carry on until the doors close at 20:00, and Saturdays run from 07:30 to 12:00. We help you choose a pattern on your discovery call.

Is it worth driving when there are gyms in Kenilworth?

If you want somewhere to train on your own, a gym closer to home may suit you better. If you want every session coached, a programme that progresses and a group capped at seven, that is what the fifteen minutes buys you. The free discovery call is the simplest way to find out whether it fits.

Where do I park?

Right outside. There is free on-site parking directly in front of the unit on Rigby Close, with no permit needed and no circling the block for a space.

I haven’t trained in years. Will I cope?

Yes. Most new members are complete beginners or returning after a long break. Every session is coached and groups never go above seven, so a coach is working with you from your first warm-up and the loads are set for where you are now.

How do I get started?

Everyone begins with a free fifteen minute discovery call. If it feels right, the next step is the 6 Week Experience, a paid, coached six-week block that shows both of us whether it is the right fit. The Getting Started page has the full details.

How much does it cost?

Coached small group training usually sits between a commercial gym membership and one-to-one personal training. We talk through pricing on the discovery call, once we know how often you want to train. Send an enquiry and a coach will reply within 24 hours.
