Where Andy was before
Andy came to us having trained on his own in a commercial gym most days, anywhere between one and two hours, and just not feeling like he was achieving anything. As a dad of a little girl and someone working two busy jobs, his time is precious. If he was going to spend it on training, the training had to be worth it.
What he wanted
Andy wanted to lose weight. He wanted to feel motivated. And he wanted to be surrounded by people who would lift him up. He has found exactly that.
Andy has not just lost weight. He has built confidence. He is one of the kindest people you will meet, there for everybody, and the first voice shouting for someone else.
Coach noteFive months in
Andy started with us in November 2025. In five short months, he has quite literally transformed. He is just under 20kg lighter, but more importantly, the way he carries himself has shifted entirely.
For years he had struggled with calf issues, stiffness in his back and tightness in his hips. He had not done a lot of structured strength work. We started carefully, focused on movement, mobility and positioning. The bar weighed 20kg. That was the starting point.
What he is lifting now
He can now lunge cleanly. He can squat well. He is performing compound movements far better than when he walked in. His 1RM bench press is at 70kg. His 3RM back squat is at 70kg. He is running on his own time too. He has some big goals, and we know he will get there because his enthusiasm is electric.
